Quickstart
Sign up, connect one social account, schedule your first post. A 10-minute path from zero to first publish.
If this is your first time, the fastest path to a working setup is the four pages in this section, in order.
The four steps
- Create an account — either email or Google. No credit card up front.
- Connect your first social — pick one network. We'll handle the OAuth dance.
- Schedule your first post — text, image, video, or carousel. Pick the network, pick the time, walk away.
- Pick a plan when you're ready — the trial covers everything for 14 days, no card required.
After that, you'll probably want to either connect more networks (see Platforms) or set up a posting rhythm (see Scheduling).
Common questions before you start
Do I need a separate Post Mate account for each social network? No. One Post Mate account holds every social account you connect. Plan limits cap how many sockets you can fill — Creator gives you 15, Pro is unlimited.
Do I have to give you my passwords? Never. Every social network uses its own OAuth flow on the network's own page. The only exception is Bluesky, which still uses revocable app passwords — we explain how to generate one when you connect.
Will this hurt my reach? No. Every post goes through the platform's official API, which means the algorithm treats it the same as a post made from the native app. No third-party watermark, no attribution suffix, no shadow-ban risk.
What if a platform rejects my post? We retry once, then surface the platform's error message on your post. You see exactly what went wrong (caption too long, video codec unsupported, etc.) so you can fix it without guessing.
